Things to do around

The apartment is located 30 second walk from Turnpike lane station, which is on the Piccadilly Line and about 20 minutes to central London on the tube. Also the apartment is right in the heart of the shopping area Wood Green, with many restaurants around.

The Mall Wood Green

The Mall Wood Green

The Mall Wood Green is a large shopping centre and residential complex in Wood Green, north London. It is generally still referred to by its former name of Wood Green Shopping City; the signage on the building still uses that name.

Alexandra Palace

Alexandra Palace

In 1873, this building was constructed on a hill in a 194-ha park to match the Crystal Palace to the south. Twice destroyed by fire (in 1873 and 1980), it has been restored and now hosts exhibitions, concerts and sports events.

Highgate Cemetery

Highgate Cemetery

Shrouded in mystery and stories of vampires - one of which hit the headlines in the 1970s - this cemetery, opened in 1839, is home to around 53 000 tombs. A delightful place for a bucolic stroll, the cemetery is divided into two by Swain's Lane. Famous people buried in the eastern section include writer George Eliot and Karl Marx, while the western section houses the graves of Michael Faraday and painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

Camden Town

Camden Town

Every weekend, Camden draws hordes of visitors on account of its maze of a market (Camden Lock Market), its vintage boutiques, antique dealers (The Stables Antique Market), and its canalside setting. It is appealing for its ambience and the human spectacle of such a mixed crowd. A hotspot of the British rock and pop scene, Camden has many concert venues and a long musical tradition. Today, Camden is gradually changing with the arrival of new studios and media businesses.

London Zoo

London Zoo

London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo. It was opened in London on 27 April 1828, and was originally intended to be used as a collection for scientific study.
